THE UKULELE ORCHESTRA OF GREAT BRITAIN

When the Ukulele Orchestra of Great Britain, founded in 1985, lights its musical cabaret fireworks, no audience can resist. For four decades, these ladies and gentlemen and their ukuleles have been touring the world, with such outstanding success that they have become an institution in its own right! The sounds the seven musicians coax from the little string instruments, which originate in Hawaii, make for an overwhelming show, spiked with British humour at its finest. After the ukes rocked the Semper Opera at their last visit to the Dresdner Musikfestspiele, they now visit the concert hall of the Kulturpalast with their surprising arrangements and their legendary, joyful playing and entertainment.
