MNOZIL BRASS

It’s been over thirty years now that a couple of music students with philharmonic ambitions gave in to the temptation of performing popular music at an inn, and this act at the »Gasthaus Mnozil« in Vienna led to an unexpected career in entertainment. They left the august world of classical music behind and cheerfully set sail for other horizons – applied brass music, so to speak, never shying away from popular and jazz music, opera and operetta. These knights in their shining brass armour are renowned for their Viennese nonchalance and great sophistication. Today, Mnozil Brass gives about one hundred concerts a year: even if the former students have long become professors themselves, their passion for brass music has never waned, but is kept blissfully alive in their current anniversary program.
