Stacey Kent is one of the most well-known and, with more than two million albums sold and a Grammy nomination, also one of the most successful jazz vocalists of our times. Some of her recordings have reached gold and platinum status. Together with her husband and long-time musical partner, the saxophone and flute player and composer Jim Tomlinson, and the pianist Art Hirahara (with whom she also recorded her latest album in 2023, »Songs from Other Places«), this exceptional Anglo-American musician now appears at the Musikfestspiele. With its impressive redbrick architecture, the Stromwerk, a former power station, offers the perfect framework for this high-carat jazz concert.
