For the seventh time, the Dresdner Musikfestspiele invites everyone to its great join-in project »Klingende Stadt«, which has become a beloved tradition in the festival’s calendar and allows more than 1,000 participants to show off their artistic potential to the audience: in 2024, professional and amateur musicians – whether individually or in orchestras, choirs or bands – as well as dancers and ensembles of all styles and genres are once again invited to participate in this tried-and-true format with their own programmes, making Dresden’s city centre resound for an entire afternoon. Everyone who enjoys music is invited, no matter whether solo or in an ensemble, whether amateur or professional, and whether classical, jazz, pop or rock is your thing. Let’s send a positive message through the uniting power of music once again in 2024!
