Laszlo Paulik

Laszlo Paulik was born in Hungary and graduated from the Ferenc Liszt Academy of Music in Budapest. He continued his studies in Vienna and at the Academy of Early music in Dresden with professor Simon Standage. Since 1992 he has worked as concertmaster and soloist of the Orfeo Chamber Orchestra in Budapest. He collaborates with several European orchestras including Anima Eterna, La Chambre Philharmonie, Wiener Akademie, Les Ambassadeur and performed at all major European festivals with these ensembles. As a chamber musician he has performed with Jos van Immerseel, Miklós Spányi, Malcolm Bilson, Barthold Kuijken, Balázs Máté and Simon Standage. Recordings of chamber music were released with the Hungarian Hungaroton label as well as with the German label NCA. His two CDs of Giuseppe Tartini's violin concertos were released in 2001 and 2004 as a world premier. Since 2011 he has been a teacher for Baroque violin at the Ferenc Liszt Academy of Music in Budapest.
