Ava de Araujo Madureira

The French-Portuguese violinist studied at the Munich Academy of Music and Theatre, graduating with an artistic diploma from the class of Prof. Ingolf Turban. Since then, she has been pursuing a master’s degree with Prof. Linus Roth at the Leopold Mozart Centre of the Augsburg University. She is also studying historical performance practice. Both on the modern and historical violin, she plays concert projects with orchestras such as the Munich Philharmonic, the Munich Chamber Orchestra, Concerto Copenhagen, L’Accademia Giocosa, Harmonie Universelle, Concerto München, the Hofkapelle München and the Munich Bach Orchestra. She has performed at the Schleswig-Holstein Music Festival and at the Music Festival Potsdam Sanssouci with Dorothee Oberlinger. In addition she has appeared at the Bach Festival in Seoul, the Styriarte festival in Graz, the Innsbruck Weeks of Early Music, as a soloist at the SWR Festival in Schwetzingen, the Festival International Echternach in Luxembourg and at the Bach Festival in Lausanne under the baton of Reinhard Göbel. From 2015 to 2017 she was a member of the orchestra academy of the Bavarian State Orchestra. Since 2017 she has been a regular member of the orchestra of the State Theatre on Gärtnerplatz; since 2015 she has been a member of the Dresden Festival Orchestra.
