MUSICAL FAMILIY TIES

TRIO MOREAU

Three brothers, three instruments – and one passion: chamber music. Jérémie Moreau traded ballet for the piano, his brother David shines as a violinist with a degree from the Paris Conservatoire, and Edgar, the eldest, has long since established himself as an internationally acclaimed cellist. Together they form the Trio Moreau, an ensemble that combines virtuosity and a joy of playing. At the Palais im Großen Garten, the young French musicians will perform two highlights of early Viennese Romanticism: the two monumental piano trios by Franz Schubert. These two masterpieces are full of melodic bliss, coupled with formal power and profound expressiveness. Robert Schumann aptly called them "an angry celestial apparition rising above the musical scene of the time." An evening of chamber music that promises the highest intensity and deeply moving moments!
