ORGAN RECITAL JAN LIEBERMANN

Der 2005 in Oberfranken geborene Jan Liebermann gilt als eines der größten und vielversprechendsten Talente auf der Königin der Instrumente. Mit sieben Jahren begann er mit dem Klavierspiel, und im Alter von zwölf folgte der Wechsel an die Orgel. Dabei haucht der junge Musiker dem »alten« Instrument eine ordentliche Portion frischen Wind ein und teilt seine Begeisterung in den sozialen Medien mit über 40.000 Followern. Im Frühjahr 2024 sorgte Liebermann in der Orgelwelt für Aufsehen, als er bei mehreren öffentlichen Konzerten jeweils alle sechs Triosonaten von Johann Sebastian Bach auswendig aufführte. Mit Virtuosität, technischer Meisterschaft sowie interpretatorischer Tiefe reißt er das Publikum von den Kirchenbänken und Konzertstühlen. Auch auf der berühmten Silbermannorgel in Freiberg wird er mit einem ganz Johann Sebastian Bach gewidmeten Programm klangvoll alle Register ziehen.

ORGAN EXCURSION

With its 2,674 pipes and 44 registers, the impressive organ at the Cathedral in Freiberg is a masterpiece that has wowed visitors until today. In 1714, Gottfried Silbermann completed his first great work – his second organ after his his organ-building apprenticeship in Alsace. It was hardly altered over the course of centuries and thus still in its original state. All concertgoers who wish to learn more about the most legendary Baroque organ and its builder can combine the organ recital with this fascinating excursion.
