Omer Meir Wellber, known for his curiosity, versatility, and unconventional approach, presents his new Blue Ensemble this evening, which unites musicians from the Philharmonic State Orchestra and highlights their unique qualities. The repertoire is not routine, but rather an adventure. And all the more so when the Military History Museum is transformed into a concert hall for the evening. Just as the museum's extension (the famous wedge-shaped building by star architect Daniel Libeskind) alludes to ruptures in German history while simultaneously opening up new perspectives, the musical program also embarks on new paths, promising an exciting and discovery-filled evening through improvisation and unusual combinations.
