Born in Hamburg in 1994, the composer, pianist and producer Niklas Paschburg stands for spheric sonic creations, oscillating between neo-classical and ambient pop. With this atmospheric mix, the artist, now living in Berlin, has gathered a large group of international fans, which makes him the perfect guest for the series »Classical Beats« at Dresden’s Reithalle, an unconventional space inviting unconventional musical encounters. Paschburg began playing piano as an elementary school student, later combining his classical training with electronic music and hip-hop components. A composer by trade, he has released not only several albums on 7K! Records (including »Oceanic«, »Svalbard« and »Panta Rhei«), but also numerous remixes, and has written scores for films such as »Presque« and »Ernesto’s Island«. Within the club atmosphere of Dresden’s Reithalle, his hip sound will ensure a relaxed Friday night vibe.
