At the Schauspielhaus Dresden, NDT 2 – originally a kind of training ground for NDT 1, but now an independent company with own repertoire – presents two exceptional pieces: Saaba, choreographed by Israeli artist Sharon Eyal, speaks a captivating language of movement, accompanied by the powerful music by Ori Lichtik. The dancers create an atmosphere full of intensity and emotions. The second dance highlight is Folkå, a work by Spanish choreographer Marcos Morau, conceived as a vibrant hymn to life – a night of sacrifice, celebration, and community.
