CHILDREN'S CONCERT: THE SARAHBANDA

The rhythms and melodies of Cuba simply lift the spirits. Sarah Willis, a horn player with the Berlin Philharmonic, knows this well, having joined forces with some of the country's finest musicians to form the Sarahbanda. In this children's concert, young concertgoers embark on an entertaining and exciting journey to the Caribbean with the band, discovering a variety of instruments and the quintessential sounds of Cuba through magnificent music and, above all, a great deal of fun. Whether it's bolero, mambo, or cha-cha-cha – achieving the perfect sound requires not only a sense of rhythm but also teamwork. And when the Sarahbanda launches into their irresistible sounds, no one can stay in their seat.
