Pianist, entertainer, composer, Grammy winner, world record holder for the longest concert – Canadian Chilly Gonzales has long enjoyed cult status and consciously defies categorization. The passionate showman loves the direct communication of live performances: I'm an entertainer. And by entertainer, I mean: no music works without the audience. The performance is the goal, because the audience is my favorite instrument. Trained in classical and jazz music, the artist presents himself onstage with slippers and a bathrobe, approaching the music industry with a refreshing dose of irreverence while at the same time celebrating music in all its diversity.
