In the first part, the Hamburg Philharmonic State Orchestra and its newly appointed chief conductor, Omer Meir Wellber, are joined by a fantastic musical partner in Till Brönner. This internationally acclaimed jazz musician effortlessly blends jazz with mainstream, high culture with pop aesthetics, creating his own unique and unmistakable sound with virtuosity and casual elegance. The program includes legendary classics by artists such as Louis Armstrong and Frank Sinatra – a truly exceptional listening experience! The second part then takes us on a journey back to the Romantic era with Franz Schubert's Third Symphony. The notes of this early work, composed with lightness and youthful exuberance, convey an unbridled joy of life that is infectious and will surely send the audience home with a smile.
