We cordially invite you to meet outstanding artists of the international classical music scene at the Dresden Music Festival that annually features a unique abundance of artists within a period of three weeks, thus creating a dialogue with Dresden’s cultural tradition. Concerts at the city’s most atmospheric venues not only captures the audience in Dresden. With Jan Vogler as Artistic Director the Dresden Music Festival, founded in 1978, has developed into a Festival of international renown.

The Foundation of Arts and Music for Dresden

The foundation of arts and music for Dresden initiates and fosters projects that enhance Dresden’s developpment as city of arts and music for various cultural trends: as nonpartisan supporter of music, cultural education and contemporary arts it pools active citizenship in a global network to promote that current trends may move into Dresden and radiate across the borders of the city, state or country.

The Dresden Music Festival represents Dresden as a international city of music in a very unique way. The foundation assists the Music Festival as project partner to foster its global attraction and reputation. As a member of the board of trustees you can actively support this mission.
