Since its consecration in October 2005 the Frauenkirche that was destroyed in 1945 and rebuilt due to the citizens’ commitment and international support shines in new splendour. George Bähr’s Baroque church was named »stone clock« because of its unique dome made of stone. Many internationally renowned ensembles have performed at this place.
