Claudio Fenoglio
was born in 1976 and graduated with distinction from the music conservatory having studied piano, choral music, composition and conducting. He attended numerous piano master classes held by various teachers including Laura Richaud, Franco Scala, Giorgio Colombo Taccani and Gilberto Bosco. Parallel to his studies he started working as assistant conductor in the field of opera before specializing in choral conducting. He worked as assistant chorus master at the Teatro Massimo in Palermo collaborating with Franco Monego for two years. In 2002 he began his position at the Teatro Regio as assistant to chorus master Claudio Marino Moretti and later to Roberto Gabbiani. From 2007 he rehearsed several productions of the season at the Teatro Regio, in alternation with Gabbiani, and collaborating with the Philharmonic Choir. In November 2010 he was named choir master of the Teatro Regio di Torino, a position which he still holds in addition tothat of chorus master of the Children's Choir of the Teatro Regio and the »Giuseppe Verdi« Conservatory.
